Wordless Wednesday: "The Alarm Clock" by Diego Rivera

"The Alarm Clock" by Diego Rivera
Courtesy of Museo Frida Kahlo

I found this amazing painting through Google Art Project.  If you haven't hear, Google Art Project allows museums worldwide to upload their art so that everyone connected to the Internet now can view some of the amazing art created throughout history.  I absolutely love this idea;  after all, I doubt I'll be able to visit all of these galleries, even if I suddenly became a billionaire.

If you use Chrome as your web browser, you can find the Google Art Project app here.  If you either don't use Chrome or don't want another app, go to http://www.googleartproject.com/ to see how a little bit of nice from the museums goes a long way.

By the way, I chose this painting because I like how the alarm clock looks so sleepy.  :-)

    1. Welcome to my little corner of the Internet! I hope you enjoy reading here. By the way, while I do post recipes, most of them I either created myself or are family recipes. (Yes, I read your website and I agree with your decision not to repost recipes.)

I also followed you on GCF, and I look forward to more gluten-free recipes. Not for my family, but I have a nephew whose son is allergic to gluten. I send him and his wife recipes whenever I stumbled across them.

  2. This has a little Dali in it. :)

I was shocked at how little the contestants on Jeopardy! the other night knew about the art category. I wouldn't say I know a lot about art, but I knew all the answers and they must have missed at least 3 of the questions.

The Google Art Project is a valuable resource; let's hope more people use it!

    1. I'm not surprised that you knew more than the Jeopardy contestants - you have both intelligence and common sense in great quantities.

I hope more people use Google Art Project - it is such a wonderful way to view art that you'd never see otherwise.

  4. This is an authentically decent site post. Not very numerous individuals would authentically, the way you simply did. I am authentically inspired that there is such a substantial Yellowstone Men's Clothing magnitude of data about this subject have been revealed and you've put forth a valiant effort with so much class. On the off chance that needed to ken more about green smoke surveys, than by all methods come in and check our paraphernalia.
