Picture
Book
Idea
Month is back - and I am ready to go!!! I heard of this wonderful event from a friend of mine, Teresa, and I decided to try it out. At first, I found it rather easy to come up with a solid idea for a picture book, but by the end of the month I scraped the bottom of the barrel for ideas. I learned that coming up with a thoughtful, entertaining story for anyone under the age of 8 is not as easy as it sounds.
So this year, I'm doing it again. Every day, I will read the post from
Tara Lazar, the wonderful lady and author who began this insanity, then I will attempt to do the improbable and come up with a new picture book story idea.
So, is there any one out there willing to try this with me? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
Hmmm, this may be easier to attempt than NaNoWriMo (though I wasn't planning on doing that either), so I might try it (but I won't tell anyone but you for now).
ReplyDeleteWill you do the NaPiBoWriWee in May? See http://paulayoo.com/napi/?p=368 for details.
Don't worry - I won't tell a soul. ;-)
DeleteAnd I have totally fallen off the planet on this. I have one idea so far, half-way through the month. Ugh. On the bright side, I was cleaning up my data stick and found that I'd had some PB ideas squirreled away that I can use (maybe for the NaPiBoWriWee).
