Technology for Country Folk - Part 5 (The End)

While today's generation knows technological terms, at one point in time certain words and/or phrases meant  something else entirely.  For the record, these definitions come from "The Backwoods Guide to Computer Lingo" by Dave Nilsen and the illustrations are the creations of Dennis Cox at D. J. Art & Design.

  1. Oh gawd, the outhouse...whenever people ask me about things I am the most grateful for, I always say "indoor plumbing." My FIL, though, has fond memories of some four-seaters back in his day (he's 86 and grew up in the hills of western MD). I bought him an outhouse calendar for Christmas this year...I kid you not!
